NBA: Former Badger Bronson Koenig (Ho-Chunk) traded to Pistons’ G league affiliate

Bronson Koenig (Ho-Chunk Nation) is on the move again.

The former University of Wisconsin standout was traded from the Windy City Bulls, which is the Chicago Bulls G League affliate, to the Grand Rapids Drive — the Detroit Pistons G League team —on Saturday, according to league sources.

Koenig went undrafted after graduating from Wisconsin, but signed a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks before he was cut on Sep. 21. He signed a training camp deal with the Chicago Bulls, but was one of the final preseason cuts, before signing with Chicago’s G-League affiliate (the Windy City Bulls).
