Knighthawks’ Cody Jamieson (Six Nations) wins Pinty’s Wingman Award Share

The National Lacrosse League has announced Rochester Knighthawks forward Cody Jamieson (Six Nations) as the Pinty’s Wingman of the Week award winner for Week 7 of the 2015 NLL season. Jamieson, currently ranked sixth in the league with 41 points (13+28) and tied for third in assists (28) in seven games played, posted nine assists in Rochester’s 15-10 road win over Buffalo on Saturday and added five points (3+2) in a 15-10 Knighthawks win in New England on Sunday.

p8281450Jamieson, who led the league with 108 points (36+72) last season en route to winning the 2014 NLL MVP award, is already ranked in the Knighthawks’ all-time top five in career points and assists. The first overall pick in the 2010 NLL Draft out of Syracuse University, Jamieson is currently in his fifth NLL season and continues as one of the game’s elite scorers. The forward out of Six Nations is a three-time NLL champion and two-time Champion’s Cup Finals MVP.

Pinty’s is an official partner for the NLL on TSN during the 2015 season. Each week, an NLL player will receive the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award based on their performance with respect to passing prowess and playmaking abilities. The weekly award winners will be entered into the pool of finalists for the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Year” award at the end of the season.
