Haskell Indian Nations University Volleyball One of Four Teams Selected to the CAC Conference Volleyball Championship Tournament

The Continental Athletic Conference has announced the four teams, of the 19 team conference, that have qualified to compete in the 2022 Volleyball Championship Tournament, taking place November 11-12 at Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida.

Joining host Florida College at the tournament will be defending CAC champion Florida National University along with Fisher College (Massachusetts) and Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas).

Each team will play three matches on Friday, November 11, to determine seeding for semifinal matches on Saturday, November 12. The two winning teams will play later in the day for the tournament title and the conference’s automatic bid to the NAIA national tournament.

Last year’s CAC runner up, Florida College is 7-1 against league opposition this fall and stands 20-9 on the season. The Falcons won all three matches during last weekend’s CAC Classic, a tournament that took place on their home court.

Fisher has a 21-7 record this season and has won all four matches against CAC opponents.

Florida National went 3-0 at the CAC Classic at Florida College to improve its record to 6-11 overall and 3-2 in conference matches.

Haskell Indian Nations also has a winning record, 4-3, in league matches and overall stands 11-17 on the season.
