by NORFOLK, Va. (September 18, 2017) – For the second consecutive week, junior Tamia Dockery (Navajo) earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Setter of the Week after her performance at the D.C. Classic. The announcement came today.
The Texas native averaged 8.9 assists per set this past weekend, including 34 against American. She also tallied 32 assists apiece against Iowa and Princeton, giving her six straight matches in which she has recorded at least 30 assists. Dockery also had nine digs in each match while adding six total blocks and two aces.
Tuesday, the Bison travel north to Baltimore where UMBC awaits. Match time is 7 p.m., followed by a home exhibition versus Zhejiang China Volleyball Club. First serve also at 7 p.m.
