by HOUSTON — Kaylah Yazzie took third in the 200 backstroke as North Texas fell to Houston 216-147 in a two-day dual meet that wrapped up Saturday.
Yazzie’s best finish of the meet came on day two, placing third in the 200 back in 2:10.93. She also led off North Texas’s B 200 medley relay, which finished fourth in 1:45.67.
On day one, Yazzie placed seventh in the 100 back in 58.89 and swam on the B 200 free relay, which finished sixth in 1:43.50. The B 400 medley relay she swam on was disqualified.
The meet final was Houston 216, North Texas 147.
