by Tronis McKay, of Bismarck State College, has been named the Mon-Dak men’s basketball player of the week for the fourth time this season.
The freshman from St. Michael, N.D., and former Mr. Basketball finalist for Four Winds High School, totaled 28 points, 17 rebounds, five steals, four assists and three blocks shots in two games last week for the Mystics.
The 6-foot-4 McKay is averaging 24.7 points on the season.
In Mon-Dak action tonight, BSC hosts hosts Lake Region State, while United Tribes welcomes in conference-leading North Dakota State College of Science. Both doubleheaders begin at 5:30 p.m. with the women’s game.
