Sharahya Moreu (Acoma Pueblo) Joins Team USA Boxing’s First Training Camp of 2022

he nation’s top boxers, including all four 2021 Elite Men’s World Championships medalists and two 2020 Olympians, began the first elite high performance training camp of 2022 today at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. this week. A complete camp roster can be seen below.

The training camp, which will be used to select the boxers that will represent Team USA at international competitions throughout the year, will run until Feb. 12 under the guidance of USA Boxing Head Coach Billy Walsh (Colorado Springs, Colo.), USA Boxing National Developmental Coach Chad Wigle (Colorado Springs, Colo.), USA Boxing National Strength and Conditioning Coach Jose Polanco (Colorado Springs, Colo.), as well as, Adonis Frazier (Minneapolis, Minn.), Timothy Nolan (Rochester, N.Y.) and Pete Rojas Jr. (Grand Prairie, Texas) and Nora Trujillo (Richmond, Texas).
