Riley Holsinger (Nez Perce Tribe) Selected to NAIA Division I First-Team All-America

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2014-15 NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball All-America Teams Wednesday. Players were selected by the NAIA-Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-America Committee. Riley Holsinger (Nez Perce Tribe) was among the 10 named to the First Team All-America team.

Holsinger averaged 19.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game.  The junior guard has scored 30 or more points four times so far this season, including her season-high 37 points in Vanguard’s overtime loss at then No. 9-ranked Concordia, the eventual GSAC Champion.  She also tallied eight double-doubles and was named GSAC Player of the Week in January. Holsinger was the 6th highest scorer in the country this season in point per game and was 11th in total points scored.
