by NEWARK — Unrestricted free agent Jordin Tootoo (Inuit) will attend Devils training camp on a professional tryout deal, according to one report on Friday.
Josh Rimer of Josh Rimer Hockey reports that Tootoo, 31, has agreed to a PTO to join the Devils in camp.
The right winger had no goals and one assist in 11 games with the Detroit Red Wings last season along with five penalty minutes. In 51 games for Grand Rapids (AHL), he had 6-12-18 with 104 PIM.
