by Chandler, Arizona– The Coyote basketball programs split in their doubleheader against the visiting Pima College Aztecs on Saturday afternoon. The Women’s Basketball team took on the #8 nationally ranked Aztecs and fell 92-65. The Coyotes got down early and were never able to reover as the size and speed of Pima College was simply a bit too overwhelming. Mya Johnson (Navajo) lead the Coyotes with 28 points on the night. The Women’s Basketball team now sits at 4-5 and 2-3 in conference play.
