Senior guard Jenine Coriz (Cochiti Pueblo) of Haskell Indian Nations University has been named MCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 30.
Coriz (Santa Fe, N.M.) had 29 points, six rebounds, five steals and three assists in Haskell’s 81-70 victory at Graceland University last week. She was 12-of-17 from the field in the win, including hitting 5-of-6 three-pointers.
Haskell is 9-1 this season.
