Jaelyn Two Hearts (Spirit Lake Tribe) has career-high 16 points for Park Pirates in 66-58 Win Over Culver-Stockton College

The Park University women’s basketball team earned its first road victory of the season on Saturday and captured its first-ever Heart of America Athletic Conference win, in a 66-58 win at Culver-Stockton College.

The Pirates improve to 2-14 overall and 1-14 in the Heart, while the Wildcats fall to 0-11 overall and 0-9 in the Heart.

Jaelyn Two Hearts (Spirit Lake Tribe) had a career day for Park, with a career-high 16 points and knocked down four, three-point field goals. She also had four rebounds and two assists.

Three other Pirates finished the day in double figures, as Tatiana McCree scored 12, while Cautia Wadood and Brianna Miller each poured in 11.

The Pirate defense forced an impressive 25 turnovers, as they had 15 steals, seven coming from Miller and four from Wadood.

Kiana Smith had two blocks to lead Park, while Miller nearly had a double-double with a team-high nine rebounds.
