Idaho Vandal’s Trevon Allen (Umatilla) took home the Ronald White Award for the team’s most outstanding player

MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho men’s basketball got together for one final time before the summer break, looking back on the year that was at the annual team awards presentation. Due to extraordinary circumstances, the team met digitally over Zoom.

Head coach Zac Claus and the Vandals’ staff handed out seven awards on the night, as voted on by the team at the end of the season.

Trevon Allen (Umatilla/Nez Perce) took home the Ronald White Award for the team’s most outstanding player. The senior won the award for the second consecutive year. Allen led the Vandals in scoring, averaging 21.6 points per game which was second in the Big Sky and 15th in the nation. He led the Vandals in scoring in 25 games this season and was named to the All-Big Sky Conference Second Team. Allen reached the 1,000-point plateau this season and finished up his four-year career with 1395 points, which is eighth on the all-time Idaho career scoring list.

Trevon has since signed with JCK Sports Group who will help prepare him for a professional basketball career.
