Haskell Volleyball Finishes Regular Season and get #7 Seed in MCAC Tournament

(Lawrence, KS) – The Haskell Indian Nations University volleyball team finished the season over the weekend with a program best of (13-17) under head coach Nana Allison-Brewer. The Lady Indians will now head to Point Lookout, Missouri on Friday, November 14th, as the number 7-seed in the Midlands Collegiate Athletics Conference (MCAC).

The Indians most successful senior class will try to make a run at the conference championship under the senior leadership of Lisa Attcity and Tiffany Runs Through who has been one of the teams best hitters behind conference hitting percentage leader and teammate Aspen Sheperd.

College of the Ozarks will host the 2014 MCAC Women’s Volleyball Tournament Friday and Saturday, Nov. 14-15, at Keeter Gymnasium in Point Lookout, Mo.

Friday, Nov. 14
Match 1: No. 6 York College vs. No. 7 Haskell Indian Nations University, 10 a.m.
Match 2: No. 5 Waldorf College vs. No. 8 Central Christian College, Noon
Match 3: No. 3 College of Saint Mary vs. Winner Match 1, 2 p.m.
Match 4: No. 4 Bellevue University vs. Winner Match 2, 4 p.m.
Match 5: No. 2 Oklahoma Wesleyan University vs. Winner Match 3, 6 p.m.
Match 6: No. 1 College of the Ozarks vs. Winner Match 4, 8 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 15
Championship (Match 7): Winner Match 5 vs. Winner Match 6, 1 p.m.
