Florida College juniors Krista Trimble and Emilie Selvidge have joined Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) junior Jasmine Boyd in earning the first Continental Athletic Conference Volleyball Players of the Week awards for the 2021 season.
The Continental Athletic Conference (CAA) has started its inaugural athletic season after being known as the Association of Independent Institutions.
The Defender of the Week, Boyd averaged 4.67 digs per set and recorded 56 digs in four matches to begin the season. The Eudora, Kansas, native had 20 digs against Mayville State University (North Dakota) on August 28 after 17 digs a day earlier in the season opener against Kansas Wesleyan University.
