Haskell Indian Nations’ Keli Warrior (Ponca Tribe) Tabbed First A.I.I. Women’s Basketball Player of The Week In 2018

Hot shooting fueled Haskell Indian Nations University senior forward Keli Warrior to be named the first Association of Independent Institutions women’s basketball player of the week for the 2018 portion of the season.

The White Eagle, Okla., native scored 22 points on 11-of-15 shooting in a 90-63 triumph against Crowley’s Ridge College in the opening game of the CAM Jam Classic. Then, she added 15 points and eight rebounds in a 72-63 victory against Philander Smith College.

For the classic, the 6-foot-1 center averaged 18.5 points and seven rebounds while making 17 of 23 field goal attempts.

Keli is also currently the all-time leading scorer for the Indians program, where she currently sits at 1,487 points heading into the final half of her career.
