ALEXANDRIA, LA—The Red River Athletic Conference announced their 2019-2020 All-Conference Team on Wednesday night and the Lady Mustangs earned 4 selections to the team. Leading the way was junior Isabel Rodriguez who was named to the 2nd Team. Mykal Thomas, Rhianna Bortoli and Harlei Haceesa (Navajo) were named to the Honorable Mention team. Haceesa was also selected to the All-Champions of Character Team.

“Isa getting 2nd team All-Conference was a great accomplishment for her and our program! She’s worked so hard and she still has another level to go. Mykal getting Honorable Mention was really cool for her. She had her best statical season of her career. Harlei getting Honorable Mention was great because she’s grown so much. From being a role player her sophomore year to being our leading scorer this season. Rhianna getting Honorable Mention was terrific, knowing her story, she’s improved so much and she finished the season on a tear. Overall I’m extremely happy that 4 players in our program were able to get recognized for their hard work and dedication, and it shows that we are heading in the right direction!” said Head Coach Devonte Brewer.

Harlei Haceesa led the Lady Mustangs in scoring with 12.8 points per game in 27 games played. Haceesa shot 41.5% from the floor and 80.6% from the free-throw line. The junior ranked 30th in the nation with an 80.6 FT percentage. The junior averaged 5.33 rebounds per game, 2.26 assists per game and 1.3 steals per game.
