For the second week in a row, Seniesha Sekaquaptewa (Hopi/Navajo) of the Eastern Nazarene College women’s basketball team was tabbed the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- For the second week in a row, Seniesha Sekaquaptewa (Hopi/Navajo) of the Eastern Nazarene College women’s basketball team was tabbed the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, announced the league office.

Sekaquaptewa poured in a game-high 20 points off the bench to lead the Lions to an 89-84 non-conference victory over Pine Manor. She also recorded five rebounds and three assists in the game.

Sekaquaptewa connected on 6-of-12 from the floor, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, while also converted 6-of-8 attempts from the free throw line.

The rookie is pacing the squad with 15.0 points per game and is averaging 3.8 rebounds per contest on the season.

Eastern Nazarene boasts a 3-1 record on the season and returns to action November 27 with a road clash at Wheelock.
