Camryn Fixico (Mvskoke Creek) goes 3-for-3, with a single, double, home run as well as 2 innings of relief pitching for Rose State who split with NOC-Tonkawa

The Rose State Raiders gave up the early lead in game 1 against the Mavericks and even after The Raiders scored 4 runs in the 7th it was not enough to pull ahead.  The Rose State Raiders dropped game 1 with a score of 4-7. Casey WojcakKylie Stubbs and Kaytlyn Marsh each went 2-for-3 with Casey picking up 3 RBI’s with her double in the 7th inning.  Katie Lane was on the mound, she surrendered 7 runs on 6 hits, striking out 4. Camryn Fixico (Mvskoke Creek) came in relief, throwing 1.2 innings, giving up 0 hits and 0 runs.

Game 2 proved to be a little better for the Raiders, they collected 14 hits with big production coming from Casey Wojcak (3-for-4 and 1 RBI), and Camryn Fixico who went 3-for-3, with a single, double, home run and HBP. Camenda Osborn and Tarah Madron each helped the Raiders offense by getting multiple hits. Mati Worcester pitched the Raiders to victory, throwing 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits and striking out 2. Camryn Fixico came in relief, she threw 1 inning; shutting down the Mavericks to secure the win.

The Raiders will head to Poteau to take on Carl Albert on Sunday, April 8th, instead of Saturday due to inclement weather. Game times against Carl Albert will be at 1pm and 3 pm.
