Brittany Wacoche (Cherokee) Leads the Ottawa Braves Golf Team at the KCAC Championships; Followed by Hope Tsosie (Navajo)

Final Results

GARDEN CITY, Kan. – The OU women’s golf team finished fourth at the KCAC Golf Championships and fourth overall in conference on Tuesday afternoon at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course. The Braves shot a two round score of 700, finishing with a 354 in round one and a 346 in round two. The Braves finished both KCAC tournaments with a four round score of 1481 (396, 385, 354, 346).

Britanie Wacoche (Cherokee Nation) finished the KCAC Championships with a two round score of 166 to tie for fifth, earning All-Tournament Team honors. She shot an 87 in round one and a 79 in round two. Wacoche tied for eighth overall in the two tournaments and earned All-KCAC honors. She finished the two tournaments with a combined score of 349 (90, 93, 87, 79).

Hope Tsosie (Navajo) tied for 17th at the KCAC Championships. She shot a 91 in round one and an 87 in round two (178). She finished 14th overall in the KCAC with a four round score of 364 (91, 95, 91, 87). Breana Lowry finished with a two round score of 179. She shot an 88 in round one and a 91 in round two, placing 20th. Lowry finished 28th overall with a score of 387 (109, 99, 88, 91).

Kendra Martin shot an 88 in round one and a 93 in round two (181) to finish 24th. She placed 32nd overall with a four round score of 401 (114, 106, 88, 93). Jessica Carlson tied for 27th in the tournament, shooting a 95 in round one and an 89 in round two (184).
