The Scottsdale Community College Women’s Basketball team went 3-0 this weekend and beat Imperial Valley College in the Championship by a score of 52-43.
The Artichokes were led once again by the sharpshooting of Kayla Quintana (SO/Mesa, AZ), who finished the day with 23 points and hitting 4 three-point shots. Angelicah Tso(Navajo Nation) had a double-double in the championship game going for 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Tso was named to the All-Tournament team, while Quintana won the Tournament MVP. This win puts the Artichokes at (4-1) and (1-0) in the ACCAC on the year with about a week off before they take on Chandler-Gilbert Community College on December 2nd at 5:30 PM.
