Alyssa Pretty Weasel (Crow) Tallied Nine Kills for Montana State-Northern in Match against Rocky Mountain

The MSU-Northern Skylights volleyball team lost to Rocky Mountain College on Friday night in Havre, Montana. The Skylights lost in three (19-25, 25-27, and 14-25).

The Skylights got behind in the first set right away. They went on an 8-0 run to take the lead 12-11. The Battlin’ Bears took over at the end to take the set. 19-25. The Skylights battled in the second set, as they took their first lead in the second set 22-20. Rocky Mountain College came back to take the match 27-25. The Battlin’ Bears took over the third set to take the match.

Stars of the Match:
The Skylights were led by Alyssa Pretty Weasel (Crow), who tallied nine kills with a hitting percentage of .034. Jessalyn Chvilicek added eight kills. Kaitlin Murdock led the team in digs with 17. Emily Feller led the team in assists with 31.

The Battlin’ Bears were led by Makenna Bushman and Kyra Oakland, who each had seven kills with a hitting percentage of .192. Rhiannon Nez had seven kills with a percentage of .190. Blythe Sealey led the team with 30 assists in the match. Ayla Embry led the team with 17 digs.
