Nike welcomes Lindy Waters III back to the Nike N7 family, recognizing his impact as an Indigenous athlete whose presence bridges culture, identity, and sport as part of Nike’s broader commitment to Native communities.
Marking the occasion, Nike N7 created a bespoke jacket for Lindy that draws inspiration from his heritage and celebrates his reintroduction to the brand, with its first on-court appearance during his tunnel walk at the San Antonio Spurs vs. Atlanta Hawks game on November 20.

Nike N7 Initiative
Lindy’s return underscores Nike’s ongoing commitment to elevate Native voices and expand visibility across sport and culture. Through continued partnerships with athletes whose stories reflect their communities, the brand advances a future where Indigenous athletes see themselves represented on and off the court.
The moment follows the launch of Nike’s latest N7 collection, timed to Native American Heritage Month and the opening of applications for the Nike N7 Fund.
Since 2022, Nike has invested $625,000 in grants annually through the N7 Fund, administered by CAF America, to nonprofits that are powering the future of youth sport. This investment continues Nike’s legacy of support for Indigenous communities through the N7 Fund and other grants, totaling $13.4 million since 2009 to more than 300 organizations, including Wings of America, The Destiny Program and the Notah Begay III Foundation, which champion the sport of running among Native American youth.
Nonprofit organizations serving Indigenous youth can apply for N7 Fund grants through January 16, 2026.
I’m so glad you’re back I have a pair of your shoes and I love them
