by COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –Morning Grace Spotted Bear of South Dakota Mines Women’s Basketball has been named to the All-RMAC Preseason Team, the conference announced on Thursday.
Morning Grace Spotted Bear started in all 27 games for the Hardrockers last season and was second on the team with 12.9 points per game. Her 8.8 rebounds per game was seventh in the conference. Her best game of the season came on Jan. 16 at Fort Lewis, where she totaled 32 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and six steals.
South Dakota Mines was picked 11th in the RMAC after they finished in 11th last season.
What’s Next
The Hardrockers will begin the season in just over three weeks on Nov. 14 against St. Mary’s at the King Center. That starts a three-game homestand where they will take on St. Edward’s on Nov. 16 and Nebraska Wesleyan on Nov. 19.
