All-around strong play by guard Ona Dauphinais of Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) has earned her the Continental Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Dauphinais averaged 27 points across two games while making 47.8 percent of her 3-point field goals. The senior from Fort Totten, North Dakota, began the week by filling the game’s statistics with 26 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals on 9-of-16 shooting in the Fighting Indians’ 83-73 win against Mission University (Missouri) last Tuesday. She then had 28 points behind six 3-pointers in a one-point loss to Central Methodist University (Missouri) last Saturday.
