HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:

Head Women’s Basketball Coach Matt Svehla on his team picking up the win Saturday:

“In the second half, I like how we got going and came out scoring in different ways,” Svehla said. “Some scoring from transition, some from the three-point line and some from attacking in the post. That was good to see. We picked it up better defensively and it was good to get our first win at home.”

Svehla on looking ahead to playing NDSCS on Tuesday at home:

“We have to play cleaner and more consistent, and we’ll have to step up because they are a good basketball team,” Svehla said.
