by LAWRENCE, Kan. — Running back Dylan Edwards carried 30 times for 156 yards Saturday as Kansas edged Baylor 25-24 at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Edwards powered the Jayhawks’ ground game all afternoon, grinding out yardage as Kansas controlled the clock against the Bears.
Kansas rallied late, with Isaiah Marshall scoring on a 15-yard run with 1:13 left, and then blocked Baylor’s potential game-winning 45-yard field goal to seal it.
The win snaps a 14-game losing streak to Baylor and moves Kansas to 3-4 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 play.
