BOISE, Idaho – Boise State volleyball’s Melia Barlow, Sydney Dreves and Tehya Maeva were named to the Pac-12 Preseason Impact List, the conference announced Tuesday.
Additionally, the Blue and Orange were picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 preseason poll, voted on by the conference’s head coaches.
Barlow, a senior libero from Chandler, Ariz., transferred from Northern Arizona. As a junior, she tallied 133 assists, 26 aces and 430 digs. In her sophomore season, Barlow appeared in 24 matches and recorded 68 sets with 240 assists, 18 aces and 113 digs. Prior to college, Barlow recorded 371 digs, 33 assists and 45 blocks at Hamilton High School, where she led the state of Arizona in assists with 1,227 in 2021 and 1,299 in 2022.
Boise State kicks off the season at the Bulldog Invitational Aug. 28-29 in Asheville, N.C. The Broncos will face Middle Tennessee at 10 a.m. MT on Aug. 28 to open the tournament before finishing the day against UNC Asheville at 4 p.m. MT. On Aug. 29, the Blue and Orange will conclude the tournament by taking on Middle Tennessee for the second time at 10 a.m. MT.
The Broncos’ home opener will be Sept. 3-5 at the Boise State Classic against North Dakota State, UNLV and Idaho State in ExtraMile Arena. Single-match and season tickets are available at BroncoSports.com/tickets.
