by Crownpoint, NM – On September 2, 2025, Navajo Technical University is proud to announce the signing of Latisha Ann Mutte, from Rough Rock, Arizona, to the NTU Women’s Basketball Team. Latisha will pursue an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing while proudly representing her community as a Skyhawk.
Latisha is a Monument Valley High School graduate who is excited to continue her basketball journey while balancing her academic goals. Off the court, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and sharing her passion for the game with loved ones—especially her grandmother, who takes pride in watching her play.
At NTU, student-athletes gain more than competitive experience; they build discipline, leadership, and teamwork skills that translate into success in the classroom and beyond. Balancing athletics with academics prepares students for a strong future, reinforcing the importance of serving their communities as role models and leaders.
