(San Francisco, California) – Native American golfer Jeff Curl from the Northern Wintu tribe finished tied for 56th place at the 112 United States Open golf championship at the Olympic Golf club. Curl’s final round (75) gave him a four day total of (294) or (+14) for the championship.

(San Francisco, California) – After just making the weekend round of the U.S. Open golf championship, Jeff Curl finished off his Saturday round with a score of (71) leaving him twelve shots off the pace. Despite being (+9) over all for the championship, Curl finds himself tied with Ricky Fowler and only one shot behind Phil Mickelson.

(San Franciso, California) – Despite Jeff Curls 2nd round of 75 (+5) for the second round of the U.S. Open championship and a two day total of 148, his scores should be safe enough for him to get into the weekend round of the 112th U.S. Open at Olympic Golf club.
(San Franciso, California) – Native American golfer Jeff Curl briefly held a tie for 2nd place at the 2012 U.S. Open golf championship with the likes of Tiger Woods before dropping 4 shots in a tie for 40th to finish his opening round. The 33 year old golfer from the Northern Wintu Tribe, started on the back nine holes of the Olympic Golf club course and opened his round with a birdie but by the time his nineth hole (18th) came he had went out with a score of 41. Despite starting the back nine holes (holes 1-9) with a bogey, Curl was able to rattle of 4 birdies to come in with a score of 32 for a totlal of 73 for the day.
Jeff hit only 4 of 14 fairways (28%) and 8 of 18 greens in regulation (44%) on the round and still finds himself withing 5 shots of being in a tie for 2nd place overall. The whole field trails leader Michael Thompson who sits at 4 under with the nearest competitors at 1 under.
Jeff will tee off today at 7:26 AM west coast time with the same pairings.
