Western New Mexico University junior Faylyn Beyale (Navajo) tied for first place at the final round of the NCAA 2012 
Division II Women’s Central Regional held at the Sierra Del Rio golf course in Elephant, New Mexico. Beyale’s three day total was a 232 (73-82-77) after she shot a 77, which tied her with Jenifer Hilts of Colorado Mesa for the top spot. Western New Mexico finished third place as a team with a two day total of 980 (317-340-323) . The third place finish was good enough for for Beyale and WNMU to advance to the National Championships that will be held in Louisville, Ken., May 16-19, 2012.
